The FlipFlop is more than just a guesthouse.\nIt is the result of an extraordinary love story and the merging of two worlds \u2013 German structure and precision combined with Sri Lankan warmth and joy for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our story began in 2012, when we met here in Unawatuna. What started as a simple encounter on the beach soon turned into a deep love \u2013 not only for each other, but also for this beautiful place. After years of planning and dreaming, we opened our guesthouse in 2018, creating it with great passion and attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our guesthouse, we bring together the best of two cultures. Our rooms reflect German coziness, blended with the colorful, tropical warmth of Sri Lanka.
